Me, happily weaving beziér splines. Because me using anything else for art is a rare occurence.

Originally done as a background element for my website revamp. Illustrator 10 over pencil sketch, as usual. Quick and simple. I'm pretty sure I stole the basic idea of 'self playing with low-res splines' from a self-portrait some other Illustrator geek did, but I have no idea where.

1. pencil sketch
2. scan, drop into Illustrator
3. make paths with pen tool
4. repeat step 3 until done

The low-res spline effect was achieved by using the 'rasterize' effect, with it set for something like 15dpi.

This is great! I really like the concept behind this being a fellow illustrator user myself.

Again, nicely done!
